A list of flaws
Fear is the most obvious evidence of a person's vulnerability. Fear does not just refer to phobia; it also refers to a person's uncertainty about a particular scenario, which finally becomes a weakness! When we are afraid, we feel pain physically. The more we fear something, the more we resist it. And since resistance adds to the power of the thing we fear, then we should not fear it too much because then it will have even more power over us.
A person's weakness can be seen as their reliance on others for support or protection. If someone feels they cannot survive without others, then they show their weakness by needing others this way. Reliance on others is a form of dependence that shows a lack of strength of mind.
To see evidence of your friend or family member's weakness, look at how they react to threats or challenges. Do they hide from danger? Or do they quickly run away from it? If they do not take action, then they show themselves to be weak. A weak person cannot protect themselves so they ask others to help them.
Weakness may also show up in a person as inability to cope with problems. If someone cannot handle their everyday life, then they are showing their weaknesses.
They are better suited to handle and compensate for their deficiencies if they can leverage their innate abilities and strengths. Managing weaknesses is another another example of the power of strengths. Weaknesses are a necessary component of strength-based growth. However, shortcomings will never become strengths. Only people with strengths can make them work for them.
Strength-based learners understand their strengths and learn how to use them to their advantage. They know that they cannot do everything themselves so they outsource or hire help when needed. They also know that it's important not to try to be someone you're not and avoid at all costs becoming too reliant on their strengths. Dependence on one's strengths can be both a blessing and a curse. When used properly, they can lead to outstanding results. But if your strengths are used improperly, they can cause serious problems such as depression or anxiety.
People tend to either overuse or underuse their strengths. Overusing a strength leads to burnout and dissatisfaction with one's life. Underusing a strength means that you are missing out on opportunities to improve yourself and your life. It's important to find a balance between using and overexerting your strengths.
People differ in the ways they use their strengths. Some have preferences for certain types of activities that they can be seen as generalists who can adapt their behavior to suit different situations while others prefer to stick to one thing and are thus considered specialists.
