Enter the name into Facebook's "Search" box and then click "People" on the left side of the results page. Look for classmates on your school's "Like" page. Click that button to add them as a friend.
Sign in to Facebook and type your teacher's name into the "Search" section at the top of the page. A drop-down menu with a few options will display. Your teacher should be the first person listed.
Facebook may be a useful tool for locating folks. There's no assurance that your high school buddies are on Facebook, but it's a decent place to start. Begin by searching for a person's name, then restrict your search by adding filters for location and education. Choose a long-lost buddy. You should be able to contact them easily via email or phone number.
There are several ways to find people on Facebook. The first thing you should do is look through your friend list and see if anyone else from back in the day is still around. If they are, take a moment to think about what kind of information would be useful to share. Maybe there's a wedding or graduation coming up? Some other event that could help others stay in touch? Once you've thought about it, drop them an email or message on Facebook.
If you want to get more proactive with your search, you can use the tools at your disposal to narrow down your results. For example, if you know your friend went to college somewhere, then using location as a filter will bring up only those who attended the same school as him/her. The same principle applies to age, gender, interest, etc. The more specific you can be with your searches, the more likely you are to find someone interesting.
Finally, remember that not everyone wants to be found. If you send someone a request and they don't reply, that's okay.
There are several options for accomplishing this: To see all of a friend's pals, go to their profile and click the "Friends" option. Another option for finding a friend's friend is to go through the Individuals You May Know page, which is a list of people you could know based on your Facebook friends. Step 1 is the same as Step 2, but this time you'll utilize the Friends of Friends filter. This method can be useful if you want to find someone specific or if you aren't sure who you're looking for.
Enter your friend's name into the search bar at the upper left of your account. If you don't see them in the initial dropdown list, go to the bottom of the list and choose "Find all individuals called "___" or "Search Facebook. " This will provide you with further information on each individual with that name.
