Click Colors in the Themes group on the Design tab, then click Create New Theme Colors. Represent the subject of your presentation Click the button next to the name of the theme color element you wish to alter under Theme colors. Select a color from the Color Picker or type a new color value in the Formatting box.
To apply a theme to your presentation, select the "Design" tab and then "More" under the Themes group. Select the theme you wish to use by double-clicking it. PowerPoint has a number of free themes that you may use to automatically adorn the text, borders, and background of presentations using a predefined color scheme. To use one of these themes, open the presentation with the Design tab selected and click the "Theme" button.
You can also use other people's themes for your presentations. In this case, you will need permission from the author or find out who it is that created the theme. You can download many free themes from online sources such as Ltd.
The easiest way to add decoration to your slides is to use styles. A style is like a template that defines how certain elements on a slide should look (such as making all the text in a cell black). Then you can reuse that style any time you want to add those decorations again. For example, suppose I wanted to make all the text inside a cell black and bold. I could do that by selecting the cell, going to the Home tab, clicking the "Style" button, and then choosing a style named "Cell title". Now anytime I want to add cell titles to my slides, I can just use that style.
The use of themes
To choose a theme for a SharePoint site, click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then click Change the appearance. You'll be given a selection of themes to pick from, which may include basic themes and/or custom themes depending on how your site is set up. Click Apply then OK to apply the changes.
Change the topic of a slide. Choose the slide to which you wish to apply a new theme. Hold down CONTROL, then, on the Design tab, in Themes, choose the slide to which you want to apply the theme, and then click Apply to Selected Slides. The new theme will appear only on the selected slides.
To change the colors of an existing theme or build your own, click the "Color" option after selecting the theme you wish to work with. High Contrast Themes employ a distinct engine, allowing you to choose various colors for different interface components, whereas conventional Windows 8 themes only enable you to choose one hue.
To change a swatch or color theme, first add it to the Swatches panel. To open the Color panel, go to Window > Extensions > Adobe Color Themes. The Color Panel displays all themes that were available in your Adobe Color account when Animate was introduced. You can also download new themes from within Animate.
To apply a theme to all frames in your document, select All Frames from the Theme drop-down menu in the Control Bar. To apply the current theme only to a specific frame, use the Pin tool to mark it, then choose Only This Frame from the Theme drop-down menu in the Control Bar.
The best way to learn how to use any program is by taking advantage of its help system. For more information on how to use the help system for Animate, see our Help page.
