Open the EndNote library to which you want to add the citation and, from the File tool bar, click Import and File... Click Choose... to choose the file you just saved, and then click Import once you've done so. Your citations will now be added to your EndNote library automatically.
If it is not already open, click the EndNote X2 tab on the ribbon and then the Go to EndNote button to access the relevant EndNote library.
This is four way to include citations.
You may manually generate a package insert citation in EndNote by heading to References and selecting New Reference. Choose journal article as the reference type. Put the citation in the Title box of the EndNote citation you're making. Select Package Insert as the source.
To add citations to your Pages document, follow these steps:
Open your file folder. Mark the boxes next to the citations you want to include in EndNote. Then, with the paper icon with the green arrow that indicates Export selected, click the Export button. Then, click the circle for Direct Export in RIS Format, followed by the Save button. The citation information will be exported to a separate endnote.xml file.
You'll need to download the plugin individually if you have Endnote Basic. Click on Downloads to get Cite While You Write. There will be download links for plugins for Windows and Macintosh. Choose the appropriate link for your machine and follow the installation instructions.
