Choose the one you want to get rid of and go to their profile page. You should now have a look at the sidebar, which is located on the left of the page. There are three links here: the first reads "Suggest Friends," the second says "Block or Report Them," and the third says "Remove from Friends." This is the URL you must click. You'll need the email address of the person you want to delete as well as permission to do so.
When you click on Block or Report Them, a new window will open up where you can write a reason for blocking them. It can be as simple as "I don't want to see their updates" or "I block people who abuse me verbally." Click the "Block" button in this window to send them an email telling them they've been blocked and give your reason for doing so.
The other person will now not appear in your Facebook news feed nor can you find them through search. They can still visit your page, but they won't see any of your posts. As long as you don't unblock them, they'll never know you had them removed.
Instead, you may "unfriend" someone, which merely removes you from each other's friend list.
Finally, once you've located the deactivated profile, click the Friends drop-down menu next to their name and select Unfriend from the menu. Alternatively, you may open a pop-up window by clicking on their name under Friends. Nothing very noteworthy. Simply put, you can't interact with a deactivated profile.
How to Remove Facebook Friends From a List
Navigate to the person's profile that you wish to block. Hover your mouse pointer on the "friends" label next to their profile name. From the drop-down menu, choose a report or a block. Choose "unfollow" and press the confirm button. Repeat this process for each person that you want to block.
Facebook on a Desktop Launch Facebook. In your computer's web browser, navigate to https://www.facebook.com/. Select your name from the drop-down menu. It's located in the upper-right corner of the page. Navigate to the Friends tab. This tab is towards the top of the page, just below your cover photo. Find a buddy to help you out. Choose Friends. How can I unfriend or delete a Facebook friend?
