Take Baby Steps Remember that you can achieve perfection by doing your very best or by getting a little bit better every day. Nobody, or very few individuals, accomplish things correctly the first time. According to studies, learning to perform something successfully might take up to 10,000 hours. That's five years! So don't feel discouraged if you make some mistakes during that time. Just keep trying new things and eventually you will develop skills that allow you to be more effective.
Be Patient Don't expect to become an expert after just a few months or even a year. It might seem like what you are studying now would be useful later on, but that is not always the case. There are too many different subjects to talk about them all here, but the most important thing for you to understand is that progress does not happen overnight. Perfection may come quickly for some people, but it takes years for others. Be patient and don't rush yourself.
Have Fun Do not worry about what other people think of your efforts. No one except you knows how hard you are trying, so there is no point in comparing yourself to others. Instead, focus on what you can do better next time and enjoy the process of learning.

If you strive for perfection, you will only do 10% of what you want to do. When you focus on completing one task before beginning another, you limit your creativity and productivity. If you spend too much time "perfecting" anything, you're probably delaying moving on to the next item. Perfection is not attainable, so why bother trying?
The more you look at something perfect, the more you will see imperfections. If you really wanted to make someone happy, you would stop focusing on all the things that are wrong with them and instead concentrate on their good points. The same thing goes for yourself. Nobody is perfect, so why try so hard?
Perfection is desirable, but only if it doesn't involve denying reality or harming others. If you think you need to be perfect in order to be acceptable, then you will never accomplish anything in this life. You don't have to be perfect, you just have to try your best and accept who you are.
