If you sign up for a new Facebook account or wish to make changes to your current account, Facebook will usually send you a confirmation link. This link is delivered straight to the email address linked with your account and may be viewed by just opening your inbox. If you have not received this email, please check your spam folder.
Once opened, the confirmation link will take you to a page where you can confirm your email address and create a new password. This process should take less than five minutes to complete.
After confirming your email, return to your Facebook inbox and you should see an alert that says "Your confirmation code is: X". Enter this code in the appropriate field on the following page to verify your new account or log in to your existing account.
If you linked your Gmail account to Facebook when you joined up, you may use Google to change your Facebook password right away. This prevents the confirmation email and code from being sent to your email address. A pop-up window with a secure login page for your Gmail account will appear. The first time you do this, you'll have to verify your identity by clicking on the link in the email they send to you. After that, changing your Facebook password via Google will be quick and easy.
When you click the "Sign Up" button, Facebook sends you an email requesting that you confirm your account. In other words, Facebook is verifying that you are the owner of your e-mail address. Go to your e-mail and check for that message to prove that you are, in fact, you and that the e-mail address is, in fact, yours. If you can't find the message, then someone else has used your e-mail address without your permission.
To begin, sign in to your Facebook account. The messages icon is located in the upper left corner of the window. Any emails sent to your Facebook email account will display here, and will look just like internal Facebook communications. When you reply to one, it will be forwarded from your Facebook email account to the original message's sender.
Log in to Facebook. Navigate to the top-right search bar. Copy and paste the email address. Select the magnifying glass. Look for any Facebook accounts connected to that email address. If you locate one, it is quite likely to be correct. Include your email address if you want to be notified when this question is answered. Thank you for submitting a suggestion for consideration!
You must first input some personal information, including your email address, in order to sign up for a Facebook account. Facebook does not allow anyone to sign up without a confirmed email address for security and communication reasons. However, it is possible to create an unconfirmed Facebook account which cannot be verified by email.
In addition, there are some countries where it is illegal to create an online account without providing your full legal name. However, since Facebook has no way of knowing that you are not authorized to use this information, it is possible to create an account using an alias.
Facebook uses two methods to verify the identity of its users: email verification and phone verification. When you create a new account or attempt to log in with an existing account, Facebook will send an email containing a link that you must click on in order to confirm your email address. If you do not click on this link, your account will not be activated.
Furthermore, when you try to login into your account with an existing email address, Facebook will call you on your mobile phone. If you fail to answer this call, you will not be able to access your account.
Email addresses are also used by Facebook when it sends out notifications about events or changes in user privacy. Users can opt out of these emails by changing their settings.

When you join up for Facebook, you must provide a single login email address. Additional login email addresses can be added to the account as well. Any email address associated with your existing Facebook account cannot be used to create a new Facebook account. Instead, it is recommended to use an email address that is not related to your other social media accounts.
If you have multiple email addresses or email domains connected to your Facebook account, you will need to add each one separately. Also, make sure that any invalid emails are removed from the list before adding new addresses. You can check your available email addresses by visiting this page: https://www.facebook.com/help/136653394171646/. Here you can see all the email addresses that have been assigned to your account.
Once you have identified an available email address, you can click the "Add another email" link next to the existing email address to add it to your list of available addresses.
You can only have one active email address linked to your Facebook account at a time. If you want to use a different address as your primary address, you will first need to disable the current address.
