Aside from your name and email address, you are not needed to provide any information to Facebook. Friends and acquaintances can occasionally locate you by looking at your photo and email address, or by browsing the pages you like, your interests, and other profile information. They can also send messages to your wall without your permission.
However, unless you want people to be able to contact you through Facebook, we recommend that you add a phone number to your profile. You can find your number in the Phone section of your Account Settings.
In addition, we recommend adding some description to your page to make it more useful for anyone who might find it. This can include information about yourself, your interests, and your relationship to any businesses associated with yourself or your friends.
For example, if you work as an actor, you could say something like "I'm an actor. I love being in front of the camera!" This would make it easier for others to find your page if they were looking for actors. Or, if you run a business, you could say "I'm a dentist. My office is in New York City." This would make it easy for people to find your page if they were looking for a dentist in your area.

You may adjust your Facebook privacy settings so that only your friends can view your friend list, or that no one can see it at all. Your friends list is public by default, so anybody with a Facebook account may see who you're linked to.
If you have a buddy, you have the luxury of revealing them your genuine self—a self that many people may not completely understand—yet you can still depend on them to love and accept you. Friends do not have to act as though they are in a casual relationship with one another.
Pages. Because all Facebook pages are created as public platforms for selling a product, service, or personality, you can read anything on a Facebook page without having your own Facebook account at any time. You would be unable to write comments or connect with the Facebook page in any other manner. However, people can still reach out to you through Message.
However, if you have an existing relationship with someone on the page, you may want to connect with them.
